"As someone who has been attending Brittany’s exercise class in Camberley, I thought it might be useful to let members (who may be put off by the word dance) know what a fantastic group this is.
Brittany is dancer a who now works with adults with neurological conditions and children with special needs. Her classes are aimed to improve balance , strengthen muscles, and inscreasing agility. She does this by teaching us routines performed to music with each weekly class having a different musical theme eg. Queen, Motown etc. Brittany’s enthusiasm is infectious and each session is meticulously planned. It is open to all levels of disability and carers also join in. We have lots of fun and it is inexpensive as sponsored by Parkinson’s UK. I highly recommend." - Audrey "Me being the one with Parkinson’s, I feel you have tried to understand what we go through and you do the seated exercises to make sure we warm up properly while feeling safe. I like the fact that you make every week different. We never know what we will be doing. I think my favourite was musicals and also ABBA was fun. In fact every week is fun. We look forward to it every week."

The different theme each week gave us something to look forward to and probably covered everyone's musical tastes. I liked the informality of it and you created a fun atmosphere and one where it didn't matter if you put a foot wrong! For me it was not just about the dance but about sharing an enjoyable experience with fellow Parkinson's sufferers and building some friendships. And sitting down over a cup of tea at the end was a really nice touch. And I have done some of the stretches at home which I have found to be beneficial."
